All TRD trims come with 30.6” tires.

And they all have the same MPG rating. I am sure Toyota would love to advertise even the 1mpg more if it made even that much difference with the spoiler.

Took mine off to see how it looks but no idea on mpg. I can’t get the same mpg in the same route twice. At 70 mph I’ve seen 5mpg or more difference over same stretch with only variations in wind, temperature, and maybe amount of traffic.

Correct me if I am wrong, but what I see is Sport = 265/65R16, OR = 265/70R16..

    It’s other way around sir.

    Sport = 265/65/17
    OR/PRO = 265/70/16

I took the damn, dam off at 3000 miles to make it easier to remove the engine cover for an oil change.
After changing my oil (which was filthy), my gpms went from 19s to 20+ .
Needless to say the spoiler never went back on.
    I'm running stock,....for now. AC/AT 4X Sport

The Sport model is the high performance version of the Tacoma. The chin spoiler is required to maintain stability at the higher speeds the Sport is capable of. The low performance Off Road and Pro models do not require it because they are much slower.

ENOUGH with the practical advice already. o_O

The audacity you have suggesting that hands on application is more productive than tromping around the internet. Good Lord man, are you a troglodyte? :p

(Yea yea, I agree 110%. And I'm older than @hiPSI)

We need an Aerodynamics Guru with real tests/videos to explain the significant value of the Air Dam! lol

EDIT: Credentials preferred and would increase the believability of assessment. lol

Check with your local Toyota sales staff. I understand they are well versed on all the intricacies of Toyota design features.

I lived in Abilene, TX while stationed at Dyess AFB from Sep1993-Apr1999.

That's when I bought my ONLY 5-speed 1993 Isuzu Rodeo.

My wife couldn't get the hang of stick-shift and that's when I decided to stick to Automatic Transmissions. (So my wife could drive my vehicle)
