New to Tacoma World and new Tacoma owner!

I have a 2012 Trd sport 4x4 and stock tires are 265/65/17. considering putting on 285/70/17. I installed a 3" readylift leveling kit so I know I should be able to put those 285s on but am I able to go any bigger at all with trimming out some of the inner fender??
