Warning, I am a huge fan of molle systems. They are just for "military" or the like that's for sure.

Trying to decide on how I want to do this. Toyota actually has a hidden gem for diy storage systems if you yank out the factory plastic.

PROBLEM THOUGH, I have the power rear slider and that through a kink into my original idea.

Thin ply wood and fabric molle panel, making spots open for mounting directly to steel behind it for fire extinguisher, cordless impact (life saver for changing a tire in a hurry) and the like.

Anyone done a molle mod or similar on a 3rd gen with power window? Any issues just leaving the motor assembly itself exposed?

No, it does open up some possibilities, I like the better storage for that beige and black ''bracket''. It's better than having it exposed, less of a reason for a B&E.

That bracket is one thing I would like the option to store properly. (Forgot it was laying there) The other half that bracket was laying on the front seat when i took the pic. When i have it in there i have to split it. Pain in the butt.

Like fire extinguisher, cordless impact, big first aid/trauma kit, better to have and not need then need and not have. Especially in this crazy world right now.

At the same time, I have a molle panel for my front seat with pouches just for my kids to throw their crap instead of on the seat and floor lol. Molle has an incredible amount of uses if you have a little creativity and get away from being afraid if stuff that is referred to as "tactical"
