Brake light is bright. Haven't hooked up the cargos yet. See my above post, accidentally submitted early before photos on mobile.

Out of curiosity do you have a pic of the inside of the stock housing?

The gears are turning here, I'm wondering if there is a way to hack in just the LED bed light feature.

Yeah you could just throw a 921 LED for bed lights in there. Problem is it is still going through a red lens. It'll be like night OPs

The new lens is broken, so I only have the OEM red lens.

Need the truck tomorrow morning bright and early to haul some equipment, so I'll likely just put the stock one back in for tonight and see what I want to do with it tomorrow.

They should all be QC'd before shipping out to verify that they DO work, not when they get to the consumer.

I won't even talk about China...

    Bro... here's the scoop
I would much prefer an OEM Toyota housing..but unfortunately they are only manufactured with a red lens.(which won't work for obvious reasons) So this is the next best option.
FYI; The housing I purchased was listed for a 2nd Gen 95+. I don't have a 2nd GEN, so It was sent to Crash for fitment/testing/etc. I basically sold it to him what I was into it in parts.
QC? I test everything, and it functioned 100%. Crash tried tightening the screw when the mount wasn't lined up and broke the tab. Not his fault..that's why it's called R&D.
Cool your jets man... we're here to figure this stuff out together

I'm cool as the other side of the pillow.

I'm not bashing you, just trying to work the kinks out that you didn't foresee.
You're trying to sell product, which needs to light up AND mount properly and securely. Don't post saying that you only care if it's bright...

Take pride in your work. Act like it's a million dollar business and respond/post as such.

Basically, give a couple shits. Not just one.

^ Oh, I care about my craftsmanship..
You can tell from everything I make.
1 sarcastic post doesn't change the way I mod my lights.
FYI I am not trying to sell/push anything. This was a simple prototype, I'm always coming up with different ideas. IF AND WHEN they are sold to the public, you'll know damn sure it has gone through R&D.

Bed cover + bed lights + LED black'd out 3rd brk light = woulda bought 1 of these before all that happened. GLWS, definitely cooler than the other options. Pondered making a Tundra one work to have cargo/brk combo but then the other stuff happened...........

Is the nature of prototyping. That said this wouldn't have worked without your mod to it anyway, unless you removed some of the mounting material inside the light. So I wonder if the company you purchased it from had an out of spec batch or what, because they clearly could not sell these as is without getting slammed in reviews.
