I bought a couple more housings to rip apart and measure. Could very well be a mold issue. I'll measure the bolt pattern with my calipers to confirm. The mounting tabs were unaltered so it's a mauf variance

Be sure to measure the lens mounts, as there is enough room in the rear plate mount.

Is your OEM housing clear or red?

@crashnburn80 2 brand new housings measured the same @ 7 3/8" hole to hole.

I was still planning on testing output, but I spent all day ditch digging through rooted soil for a French drain and am beat. So not tonight. After I test output, maybe I'll break the unit open and glue the lens back together and measure the spacing with digital calipers. Looking at my mounting photo it is clearly off when the OEM unit lines up perfectly true.

I measure with tape and got about 7 3/8" as well. Hmm. Though measuring hole to hole with a floating tape isn't great when it is off by maybe 2mm. Unfortunately my calipers max out at 6" so I couldn't get the digital measurement. Sounds like an excuse to buy another tool. :)

I used my 8" digital caliper to measure my Gen 3 Access Cab brake light screw spacing.
Came in at 7.434" center to center or 188.82mm.

I need to take the lens off the broken unit to get the peice out and aligned to measure. I did pick up some 12" digital calipers to do so. I'll be out of town for a week though before I can get to it, by then I should have the replacement lens to swap.

I just received my clear lens from Klearz. I ordered the one for Gen 2 and it fits perfectly on my Gen 3 Access Cab. I'm going to start building my Cargo/Brake light soon.

Nice! I just received mine today as well but went with light tint as I didn't think the bright white/clear on a dark truck would look good in my case.

Nice. Are you going to try and swap it to the LED housing?

I didn't even know klearz made a replacement lens. I would have got an OEM housing and did it this way. Much better than aftermarket stuff. Curious to see how fitment is, and if the smoke hinders the bed light performance...

Only issue with the Klearz lens is the price. Cost me $47 and change including postage for just the lens. I test fit mine and it was perfect. Crash went with tinted, I bought the clear. The led panels I bought are smaller than the ones you use so it won't be an apples to apples comparison but I'll post pics of mine once I have time to wire it up.
