We came into the world to jam packed maternity wards. Our elementary school classrooms regularly had 50+. Instead of active shooter drills we had duck and cover in anticipation of nuclear war. The corona virus of the 50’s was polio. In the 60’s your choices were college or Vietnam. We came home to record high unemployment. In the 70’s when we were borrowing money interest rates were at record highs. Now that we are saving rates are at record lows. Every generation has it challenges. My time on this earth grows short and I wish all those behind me the best of luck.

I’m guessing it’s a counter to the “OK Boomer” movement.

Time will tell if it gets traction.

I think everyone has struggles regardless of age, race, or gender. I also think this is the internet and this is going to be a fun ship to watch sink!

Yes the history of humanity is a cesspool of suffering, bad choices, evil empires, wars, slavery disease, maybe we need to acknowledge that suffering is universal across generations. You know instead of complaining about the new generations, maybe we try to quit shitting on them. No longer say, well I had to deal with x so there, how about we try to assist others.

    Who am I kidding....

That sounds accurate, it didn't get hot back then. Wait, yes it did and air condition wasn't as common as it is today.

Id kill to grow up in the 70s with no technology as advanced as today. I am currently only 27, so i grew up through most of these major technological advances and would have loved to live a life without them.

The meaning and values of life are crushed when you are always watching other people do the things you wish you can have the time or ability to do. Maybe i feel this way because of social media itself and how big its gotten, maybe not. Technology has its pros and cons, but i just think life would be more enjoyable without most of the technology of today.

Here a pic from your neck of the woods above Nederland . I have four sons who all want the truck so get in line. A set of Wildpeaks was added after this pic was taken.C7729CFB-BA46-40C5-9B24-44D307416CEC.jpg

Dude... That's kind of a dick thing to say.

And I know dick, I am one on the regular.

If I'm saying that's bad then it may be time to look in the mirror.
