Ok, I'm not stupid and work in IT, but I can't find 5100's for the rear of 2015 with a 2 inch lift. Where can I find them? Ugh!

I’m pretty sure the 5100s can take the 2 inches of lift. I’ve looked for a specific 2 inch lift size and can’t find it. Headstrong off road sells the 5100 and they have a chart that shows travel tolerance.

Thanks guys, but I don't see anywhere that says that they fit a 2 inch lift. Don't you need a longer one if you have a 2 inch lift vs stock?

Because your rear shocks don’t lift the truck?

I am new to suspension, so bare with me. But I thought that the shock had to have a longer travel length with a lift. The guy that had the truck before me, lifted the rear 2 inches, but left the stock shocks on the rear. So it rides pretty rough and seem to be extended pretty far when sitting still on level ground.

The description provided for the Bilstein 5125 says that they work well for 2"-3.6" of rear lift.

You are fine running the 5100's with a lift, but you're right, they will top out (fully extend) sooner and you won't be able to take advantage of any additional travel that your rear suspension may provide.

Look at the dimensions of each shock. (stock length 8.92" travel)
    14.02-22.94"

    vs (extended, 9.37" travel)
    15.01-24.38"

So approximately 1" longer collapsed length, and 1.44" longer fully extended.
