belt squeeking after water

    im new to the whole offroading stuff and last night i was in the bush with some buddies and the puddles werent that deep, yet now my belts are squeeking how do i stop this?

    If its only water on the belts, it'll eventually dry off and should stop squeeking.

    If it doesn't stop squeeking, you probably have a bearing that's going bad. Mudding & water is bad on bearings.

    It may also be time to replace the belt. They tend to last a few years (maybe 50-70K miles or so) and you do have an '07. You can tell it's time to replace them when they periodically squeak when they get a little wet (like in the rain). Any little bit of water/moisture that gets on them will cause them to slip.

    yea, it sstopped after a drive then started again right after a carwash so guessing its time for new
