Bench Press Chart.

    Hi guys,
    At school I had weightlifting all last year however I had forgotten to take a picture of a charts for bench. So now that its summer I have no idea what weight to be doing on what rep. We started on 8 reps and I'm on the 180 chart 4 rep now so by next week or two ill be on a new chart. I googled for charts and all it does is come up with %'s. can anyone help me with my future charts because I'm having trouble finding one..

    the way we did it was a % of your max. so you would have to know what your max is and find the correct weight based on the % of your max

    if the chart says you need to do 4 reps at 80%. you need to find 80% of 175. so you would do 4 reps of 140.

    I won't get all long winded but weight should be chosen last. There's a lot to working out efficiently rather than most guys just lifting too much and never making gains.

    I hope I didn't turn this onto a long debacle but if you want more info let me know.
