bench to bucket change out

    96 single cab tacoma 4x4
    i have a 96 tacoma regular cab 4x4 with a bench seat.i thought about going with bucket seats but was looking for the easiest way to go.a friend said some honda buckets should drop right in.is this true? does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to help me get started?........bench warmer!:cool:

    You could always just go to the wreckers, or classifieds and get some out of another tacoma. Not sure about the tacomas, but in the older pickups you could use the 4runner seats as well.

    By sticking with toyota, you ensure that the seats match the interior style as well as colour.

    Look on ebay and/or in the local junkyards.

    I had a 96 access cab with a bench seat. I put buckets in it from a 95.5 tacoma regular cab . The seats bolt in. The center console also bolted in but didn't necessarily conform to the tranny tunnel (it would rock a bit - which wasn't a big deal). I had a manual tranny.

    01 SR: Double Cab conversion, S/C, lowered.
    The only OEM seats that will bolt up 'as is' are 1995.5 - 2004 Tacoma buckets.
