I’m sorry for the over asked question. I’m new to Tacomas and I just can’t seem to find a straight forward yes or no answer to this very basic question.

Will a 2nd gen bucket seat fit in my 2nd gen single cab where there is a bench seat?
does it matter if the bucket seat comes from single/access/crew cab?
Is it relatively easy to connect the airbag sensors?

I’ll delete if/when I get an awnswer. I appreciate any helpful replies.

Factory front bucket is a factory front bucket for the 2nd gen tacos. The airbag plugs are yellow, impossible to miss, one per seat under each seat.

There is a factory manual+bucket seat center console that will go between the buckets as well. If you want black look for a 2.5gen (2012-2015).

You have to do some trickery to make the SRS happy, the seats will physically fit but the SRS components are different between bench & bucket seats and do not interchange.

I do not reccomend modifying SRS components but plenty people have done it, if you search you will find plenty threads about it.

Okay thank you guys. Appreciate the response. Do I need to change out the seat belts as well? I heard those won’t fit?
