What is up Rob!!? It has been a hot minute man. Are you in Bend now? I was out there during spring break and didn’t think I’d be back this soon.

Lucy’s out on 3rd?? My hotel is on 3rd also! I’ll check out some reviews after checking in at the hotel and let the gf know. Good to see you still active and thanks for responding!

 

Lucy's is good. Los Jalapenos (601 NE Greenwood Ave, Bend, OR 97701) is also really good.

 

Yup, I'm in bend now lol. Quit the farm last year and work for the City of Bend. Huge change but it's been fun so far. Bends still growing on me, not a real huge fan of it. But I can't complain to much I suppose lol.

Rob - hope you're loving the city life vs farm life. I can only imagine how hot it gets during the summer but I for sure want to go back to visit.

Beautiful city and surrounding areas you guys have here! We're going to look into cabins at Camp Sherman for future trips but I can only imagine how booked up in advance they are.

Heading into town we stopped at Sisters to shop a bit. Ended up with a Sasquatch socks and visited a few other stores. Monday night we ended up at Hola! (Old Mill District) based on their review for their margaritas and finished the night roasting marshmallows for smores at the hotel. Tuesday Morning I made a Starbucks run across the street from our hotel and went to Lucy's for their breakfast burrito (saw they had a hand written sign saying margarita's are $10.99) while the gf slept in a bit since she's naturally a night shifter for the past 14 years. Had I known they had margaritas at Lucy's we would have done dinner there. Anyway, after checking out we walked Old Mill District a bit then ended up at Powell Butte for a quick hike to the top to check out the beautiful view. Ate lunch at Sporks afterward with a drink and went to Steelhead Falls before taking the Mt. Hood route and stopping in Government Camp to have dinner at Ratskeller. Amazing blue cheese burger w/bacon! After that it was home we went.

 

did anyone hit up the Broverlanding festival this weekend at the Fairgrounds??

 

Fuck no. I made the mistake of trying to go out to eat in Redmond on Friday and it was an absolute shit show. Out of state license plates everywhere. Turned around post haste and made dinner at home instead. Decided to stay out of town (especially near the fairgrounds) for the weekend.

 

we avoided all local travel 'kept to a friend's ranchito by Tumalo and last night out east of Pine Mt. It was so still & perfect out there that we almost felt guilty for popping off a few rounds (almost), nobody around, not even a distant dust trail

 

I went on Sunday, pretty cool seeing all gear and trucks, also got to ride in a bronco. I enjoyed it

 

I too hit it up. I went on Friday. It was a lot of fun for me. Met and chatted with a few of my favorite people in the community, made some good connections, and saw some cool shit.

Sup fellas. Any of you guys get together at all? I've been here a year and only really hang with some of my coworkers. I'm looking for anyone that rides dirt bikes, dual sport/motorcycles, obviously camping, shooting (handguns/shotguns/SBRs/Long range) and just random doinkin around.

How hard do either of you ride?

What spots do you guys enjoy riding? I spend a lot of time down at Three trails, as well as Cline Butte (specifically buckhorn side, rockier the better lol)

 

I haven't ridden in a bit. Bike sat for awhile and puked fuel when I tried to start it last. In the process of rebuilding the carb. Spent most of my time riding the China hat area. Don't ride too hard anymore since I can't really afford to get hurt.

LOTS of that out east (well away from China Hat). We don't ride but have lots of ATF campfires year 'round
