I really dont know what happened... At some point this winter this build started and has just kept going. I had no intention when i bought this truck to mod the hell out of it, just a simple lift and tires. Now I have F/R arb lockers, OBA, RTT, 2 Awnings, canopy, 2 sets of wheels and tires, I have done the suspension twice, Sliders, bumpers, skids blah blah blah and my truck is just under 20,000 miles. I now have the truck of my dreams and I am broke...

We are going to be down in the Bend area for the 4th of July long weekend. I hear there is a drive up to Broken Top, with a hike to the top. Anyone have anymore details on this they could share? We will be camping at Suttle Lake.

Hey GSPRunner, I've only been here a year and don't know a lot about the back roads/2 trackin, but Id like to know more. Suttle lake is really nice.

Packasport gone. Enter camp time. I got a lower annex not pictured as well. Paid $25 more than what I got out of the packasport. Made $75 on the packasport. Im pretty happy with what I got for the coin. Now I just need to figure out where to camp.

Any recommendations on a day camp spot where i could take my wife and kids for a day of private river access? I'd like to kick the tent out and take a nap, let the kids play/float in the river. Maybe pack some meat and grill a burger.

    crap bolted and welded together....
Last time I was in Lapine I went to the campground that's out there. Just before you get to the campground entrance (on left ) hang a right on the dirt road. Drive to the powerlines and turn left, follow them to the river. :)

This^^^^^^, plus in the general area there's another lake (smallish) that has some nice sized trout. I'll have to find my map with that particular X on it. I'll put a copy on your truck if I don't see you milling about the lot.

We should have another meet up / trail run or something. Wednesday is my last test for school. And I might get called out to a fire soon.

Here is a link to the trail head, take cascade lakes highway past bachelor, turn onto the 370 road to Todd Lake (you go past it), then take the 380 road to the trail head. The forest service has the road closed pretty far into summer due to snow. There is a hike from Todd Lake but I think it ends up being 30 miles or something crazy like that... Anywhoo: https://goo.gl/maps/G4qKf7eA1zM2
