Can any of you guys recommend someone who can weld up a bed rack for me? I just ordered a pack rack kit from All Pro.

Man I was looking at getting one too. Keep going back and forth with keeping my shell. It has been nice to have with all this snow.

    Check out suspension specialties.

    Will call them up!

I saw a truck bed during the last storm we got that had snowman in the bed, I suppose it helps with traction, lol. I got the pack rack that's compatible with my softopper so I can keep my bed contents dry, FWIW. The GB just ended but if you're thinking about it, maybe drop a message in there saying you can take a dropped spot if that happens - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...opper-compatible.455712/page-16#post-14310564

Laughed: now. In my early 20's while decorating, my roomie and I "aquired"an old bus bench (Our couch) and a kids horse machine from k Mart. Friends loved it. .25 a ride. We made beer money.
    Again, no, not a pony.

How hard is is to add a lift kit? Not spacers, like a nice 4-6" lift?

Looking to buy a couple of sleds to go play in the snow.

    Any recommendations (shops and sleds)?

Why go that high? Why go over 3"?

    Installation is relatively easy.

First truck. Gotta flush the system of the unneccesary. I won't be doing it for some time, just trying to develop a plan. Once I waste way to much money I can say "i did that", then move on to the next stupid learning experience.

I figure bumpers, a nice lift and tires are the only things left to do. A supercharger is by far out of the budget. Thats still 4k-5k worth of parts to spread out over thd next few years. No return on any of it either which really chaps my ass and makes me feels sorta guilty and childish.

Well, it was a nice rainy/icy day in washugal, wa. Just nice enough to get the new arb bumper and winch on. Hooked onto my friend's surplus rig to spool up the winch. Fun days.
Anyone need a stock front bumper with the cowl and/or Toytec front coilovers or the vanity skid plate? One of the struts is blown hence my new icons.

I have a few parts lying about. 1st gen. For sale:
Toytec coilovers set at about 3"lift, one of the struts is blown, maybe can repair, I'd replace. degreased. Dedirted.
    UCA's- degreased. Dedirted.
OEM skid plate (vanity)- that aluminum one that goes on the very front. Not dedirted but it wasn't that dirty.

After several hours of disruptions, new 140 amp alternator is in. Now to find a good place inside the cab for the new fuse block so I can do some rewiring of radios and lights.
