    Thanks for the invite! It'd be a killer spot to view the eclipse. Good idea! I'll have to pass though. Due to the Y2K-ish forecasts, we're just going to head down to Salem (I'm in Portland) instead of going over any mountain passes (coastal or Cascades). Our original plan was to backpack in the Jefferson wilderness for the weekend/Monday, but we figured as long as we see the eclipse in totality, it doesn't really matter where we see it. I hate traffic and don't want to be stuck on the road in some mass exodus. You dig? Have fun buddy!!

    Ya man.. shit is going to be insane. They want locals here in bend to buy food, water, gas and everything early. They said 6 hours to Madras.. what a joke

    Taylor lake would be a idea. Never fly fished there before. It's a little bit of a trail to get to it. Should be a decent place to pop the tent.
