Anyone who didnt cut the bolts and instead bent the inside of the fenders to remove their bolts, did you do any cleanup on them? Bend them back, grind/sand, paint, etc? Necessary at all? Any post-actions you did to them?

I put tape over the fender areas and taped my pliers before bending and then bent them back after. No visible damage or chips, just a little bit of waviness in the panel and small indents from the jaws. The fender liner hides the section afterwards anyways though.

I did not but you can. I might've wrapped them in a towel to bend.
Thin sheet metal weak enough to bend in the first place, and known to tear from the weight of a battery or two
