I off road the hell out of my sport. 90% of the off road drivers out there never use their OR's to their true potential. They just think they do!!!! Bottom line, LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!:quickdraw:

I never understood it either, You'd think they'ed want to make it simpler for themselves.

    I have a Sport because I wanted a DCLB , if I was buying a 2016 , I would get the DCLB TRD Offroad

My Sport has never let me down but if I could get the body style I wanted in the truck with the most traction options , why wouldn't I do that ?

I still might trade hoods to get the skewp though , even though they kinda neutered it from the 2012's onward

Once again, its over kill for 90% of the users out there. There our guys out there that have definitely taken an OR to the very edge and used every bit of its options. BUT mine has always gotten me out of what ever I have put it in. And I hunt some very very ruff terrain.

I had an 06 Sport and now have a 15 OR. For me, the 16" tire vs the 17" tire was one thing I thought of. The 16" tire will provide a better shock absorbing quality as you end up with a taller sidewall and they are cheaper too. Some of the 17" tires out there are ridiculously priced.

I hated the skewp. I always had the sun reflecting into my eyes driving east in the morning and west on the way home. It sucked.

When was the skewp ever potent, it's ALWAYS been fake. You need a bigger fake bulge?

Get the OR and pull the stickers off it. You don't need to broadcast what you have, you'll know by performance.

OR doesn't have a front air dam, better approach angle. Better brakes etc....however if your offroading is gonna be <20% of your driving and you like the look of the sport, get the sport.

I was going to get an STi however I know myself very well, I would be arrested and car impounded within a year, the Taco was the safest bet.
