What frame bag is that on your full suspension?

 

It's made my Oveja Negra in Salida, CO. They make custom stuff for FS MTBs. Just trace your frame onto a paper template, send it to them and they'll make a bag. I love mine.

Took a trip into the mountains today.

 

Had the truck teetering on two wheels coming down some switchbacks on this trail today.


Broke the rear seat plate. Realized that this is a pretty crucial piece as it is both the shock mount and holds the axle to the suspension. U-bolt flip makes a lot of sense to separate these two functions as well as for clearance/flex.

 

What's your plan for a new mount if you do the U bolt flip?

For now, I just ordered a new seat plate from a junkyard. I figure that's the cheapest and quickest way to get the truck back up and running. I'm pretty sketched out to drive it as the right side of the rear u-bolt isn't holding on to much. A u-bolt flip is definitely in the near future though. It just takes some welding which I don't know how to do and don't have equipment for.

What gear ratio are you running with those 32's?

 

I'm not sure what I have but it's stock. It's a bit sluggish around town and very noticeable when trying to pass at highway speeds.
