I've been going to Moab for the past three years now...and hopefully many more. Never have I ever enjoyed such a place as this. It has become tradition. The sights alone are humbling. There are literally thousands of things to do here (I say here because I'm typing this from the cabin we rented on the base of the Manti-La Sal Mountains).

This thread will remain a work in progress and will only be closed when I am updating certain posts.

The red Tacoma you will see in this thread is not mine nor driven by me.

These are the restaurants I have eat at and would recommend to others

    Eddie McStiff's

Great selection of food and beer.

    The Moab Diner

Great food and service. Not open on Sunday's. Just about every item on the menu comes with Green Chilli.

    Zax

    Awesome pizza, great beer selection

A non-resident, 7 day fishing license costs $32 and is well worth the money if you enjoy trout fishing. I could not get trout to hit any of the flies I threw at them but they loved they Blue Fox spinner.

There are several lakes to choose from. Warner and Oowah are by far the easiest to get to. Both are located a few miles off the La Sal Loop Rd and can be reached by a 2wd car as the roads are gravel.
    Oowah Lake

Small lake loaded with stocked rainbows and native browns.

This VVV is under that ledge ^^^. It was a full size Chevy Silverado. If you look carefully you can see the Honda motor cycle next to it.
