No it wouldnt, if there is a weight on the hitch and you hit a bump big enough to bottom out the shocks, then the shocks would push up, the trailer would push down. That how these things happen.

Meh. The majority of trailer problems with people towing offroad come down to one of the following:

Going too fast. There's 4x the force of a bump at 40mph vs 20mph. Slow the eff down.

Trailer too heavy. Tow ratings are based on pavement driving. At a minimum, you should consider your dirt road towing capacity to be half of whatever the manual says. Less is better.

Axle goes up, too long struts bottom out this makes a upward force, trailer weight is pushing down on back of frame, this makes downward force, front of truck going down after hitting bump puts force down. so we have the front and back of the frame going down, but the area above the rear axle going up by force and we end up with a bent frame.

Though this is 100% the drivers fault, he was going way too hard for what he was trying to do.

Looks like operator ignorance/error IMO. A really shitty tongue heavy trailer design didn't help matters..

Federal Xplora MTS and the product description for them is hilarious

They actually used "Swag" in a product description! They don't even hide the fact that these tires are for pavement queens.

Unfortunately all the irrelevant comments and "Cool Bro" responses never get deleted, so you have 220 pages with only 5 relevant and useful pages.

Complains about sifting through 220 pages of irrelevant comments and adds 4 subsequent posts back to back to back to back.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that it was likely just too fast though I haven’t been too impressed with Gladiators watching them in person as they wheel
