That is a seriously cool frame alignment set up.

    We are at:
    Caliber Collision
    202 Lane Ct, Suite A
    Sterling, VA 20166
Price would be about $350 for measure & frame pull. If frame also has diamond, add another $50.
You will probably need a new lower control arm as well. (You figure if that control arm pushed back with enough force to bend the frame, then the bushings and ball joint in it are damaged too) Then we'd get into whether the cam bolts are seized up and woukd need a new set of those

Insurance company wanted to put a new frame under it, which would have totalled it. It also needed a new bed assembly, new tailgate, left bedside, two tail lights, and new bumper. Estimate total was about $11.5k repairing the frame vs $16k replacing the frame.

You can drive across the entire stat of Virginia in about five hours, hell in Texas we have cities that far about, id drive to get it fixed. From those pics they know what they’re doing. I’m assuming op is in Virginia.

It's a Blackhawk Korek machine made in early 1960's. The absolute best frame machine ever made in my opinion. We only use it for full-framed trucks anymore. We also have two Korek II's which are slightly smaller and designed for unibody cars. All three use 10 ton hydraulic rams and chains. I've been straightening frames and unibody frames since I got out of high school in 1979. My dad was also a frame tech from 1956 until he retired in 1998.

How much does a frame straightening roughly cost? Think my rear end after a frame repair is currently sitting at a lower angle

It depends on the amount of damage really. If the whole rear half of the frame is down from the back of the cab to the rear bumper, it could run $600+. Being your truck is 26 years old, I would be worried about it holding up under a frame pull load due to frame rust. I'm not disrespecting your truck. It's just normally that way with tacoma frames of that age. Are you local?

Thanks for the response. Yea I hear that, I wouldn't say its terrible now, my frame was just rusted at the front leaf spring mounts and I had safe-t-caps put on and now it sits a little off. This is not my truck but the way the gap is from the bed to the cab is almost identical to how mine now sits after the fix. My mechanic said rest of the frame is sound and good to go.

As a cheap fix, you could always shim the rear of the bed up. Maybe stack two very large washers in between the bed and frame at the rear bolts and one washer at each middle bolts. That would make the gap between the cab and bed a little less noticeable. If the frame is off the same amount on both sides, it really wont hurt anything if you can live with it.

Also, have you checked the cab mount bushings and radiator support mount bushings to make sure they are holding up well? Just a thought

Yea I think that's what I'm going to do for the time being just to at least make it look even. Yea I believe it is off the exact same, truck drives straight and isn't wearing tires unevenly or anything. At this point it is just eating at my OCD haha

I have not checked the cab mount bushings or the radiator support. I'll go ahead and give them a good look over, any tips to tell if they are shot or anything?

I can hardly see the bend. My frame looks identical to this and even differs from the driver side but the truck aligns and drives perfect, no uneven wear.
