    Who fixed it? I am guessing insurance body shop? Anyways I would take it to a collision shop, have them put it on a rack and look over everything.

    If we're being real, no aftermarket bumper is going to make the outcome a rear ender of this magnitude any different. The aftermarket bumper, tailgate, and bed side would all still be toast. It would be very unlikely to have an effect on frame damage as well.

    But if you like the look of an aftermarket bumper, this is a great excuse to put one on.

    Slow speed collisions are a different story. I recently got rear ended at slow speeds with my BA rear bumper. It did a much better job compared to what a factory bumper would have done. Photos are in another thread here

    Don't think so.a steel bumper does NOTHING when you have a paper thin frame.
