True, but that bend is not a fault of Toyota. It's not a result of putting 2500 lbs in the bed. It's a result of your truck being involved in a wreck/accident/assident.

It's not about "you". It's whether it's a Toyota flaw or owner abuse.

If you wind up buying leaf packs, do not buy Toyotas (at least from the dealer) and do not pay the dealer to install them.

In addition to the bent leaf I wonder if you have a bent control arm, spindle, or tie rod up front...

Abuse would imply that the driver of the truck did something with the truck that it was not designed to do.

In this case, the left rear tire was impacted by a Kia Soul with 4 fat chicks in it. I would venture a guess that the spring center bolt is also sheared from the impact.

How is the shock on that side where the leaf spring is damaged? Rubber bushing mounts torn?

So, toyota wont cover it . Apparently I hit something. I guess a used set is my next best bet. I see alot of takeoffs from people on FB and CL upgrading their suspension.
Or if anyone in the HD Area has any for sale I would be glad to buy them off of you :)

Check the local for sale threads on here. Im East Coast, so Im not as in tune with what you guys got going out there, but Im sure there's some good threads. Personally I always prefer to deal with TW peeps before CL / FB

Does anyone know the compatibility for the springs? Last thread was in 2017 saying 2005-2017 were compatible. Would 2005-2020 be the new standard?

They are compatible 2005-2020, 4cyl or 6cyl, and SR up to the Pro. You're best off finding 2013 or newer or a leaf pack that has been replaced under recall.

I retract my statement - 2005 - 2020 is the new standard I guess. called a suspension shop and they confirmed the compatibility.

Also- apparently my leaf spring mount to the frame is cocked a bit. I can see the difference In comparing the side that was not impacted. As this truck has a little ding on the bottom of the left bumper.

Took it to a body shop and they said toyota is basically just trying to get me to pay for more work. Its 99% cosmetic. Once I bolt on new leafs should be solid. If not they can bang it back in place for me .

And toyota parts department is fucking retarded. they said 2004-2008 is the compatible years  And they get lippy with me when i ask are YOU SURE?

    straight clowns.
