Bent metal behind bumper

    so I had someone back into the taco yesterday while I was parked and in a store. The nice person came in and found me and I have since filed a claim with their insurer. Just curious as to what this metal piece is that got bent. Doesn’t appear to much damage to the actual bumper cover itself, but then again this is only what I can see. Not sure what all else might have gotten tweaked.

    That thin metal piece is where all the top plastic mounts to the bumper. The plastic side caps attach to the plastic core supports on the corners.

    Im not paying obviously, but what’s the damage look like cost wise? Also, how long does that type thing take to fix?
