Thanks, I appreciate that. I think I have a couple of members lined up over on this side to help with an AC design, but I will let you know if you could help, as I don't think I have anybody who has offered yet with an 09+ AC with the rear headrests.

if you can make a first gen ext cab kit i would buy it right away.

i think you can remove the back plastic panel and if you can extend the actuator cables longer the motor can be installed in the cuby under one of the rear seats?

I'd like to see where you ended up mounting the switch.

Believe it or not, I fretted over that quite a bit. The 2012 is fairly limited in locations, especially in a fully loaded model like myself.

-All my blanks on the left are occupied.
-The blanks below the ac control are incorrect size (too wide, not tall enough)
    - the area on the dash directly below the ac controls where you mounted it greg is not wide enough, plus there is a lot of brackets and structure back there.

I ended up with it on the center console, on the driver side- right by where your right knee would be.

The switch went back deeper than I had expected, especially with the spade connectors and wiring- about 1.5 - 2.0 inches so it was one of the only spots I could install it. I will post pics tomorrow when i get off of work.

Here's some pics of my install on my sub box/amp board. Works great.

Note that I am one of the few who's used the linear actuator solution and Ben's solution. Ben's solution is quieter, quicker, and smoother, but is a bit more expensive then the LA solution. The LA solution used to be quite a bit cheaper, but the LA price has gone up so the delta is about $20-30 now I think. IMHO it's worth the extra money to not have to listen to the noise, and comments, while the LA is opening/closing the window :D

Ben is also quite easy to work with. At the time (late last year), I was wanting to mount the motor to my amp board, and he was mounting the motor in the middle of the back wall. He worked with me and with the measurements I'd provided to get me something that worked for my situation.

Will the switch fit in the spares on the left side of the dash?

Ok so here is the switch location on my 2012- It lights up when the car is on, which is nice.

Thanks again Ben. To everyone thinking of buying this, please do. Ben is a great guy, and his customer service is top notch. I love this mod, especially great here in sunny California.

Just so you know Ben, I can't give you any more rep. I would if I could!
