Thank you Ben, I am very happy with it. unfortunately I found no other options as far as mounting the unit as it is configured without cutting up the rear panel. I will be curious to see if someone finds another way to do it. Also, the switch does in fact light up at night so you can see it (dimly) and it fits in the dash blank spots nicely, which is a bonus

Thanks for looking into it. Too bad there is no room behind the plastic panel. I have a DC with the JBL subwoofer. It's still a great mod.

Satoshi grill mod, Redline Tuning Hood struts and tailgate E-Z down, HID headlights and fogs, LED tail lamp upgrade, TRD exhaust, FJ TRD Anthracite Wheels, T-REX eyelids, power sunroof, 5100 Billies and ToyTec AAL, K&N drop-in, TRD seatcovers, Weathertech floor mats, Fog light any-time mod, Pop-n-lock, slotted front rotors with ceramic pads, BenWa power rear slider mod, blackout badges, and blacked out center stack and console. 7" HID's behind the grill. LED light bar in the lower grill. Trailer plug relocate. Auxiliary reverse LED's wired in to be manual or auto on when in reverse.
Connected everything, hooked up the battery and hit the switch.......nothing.
Rechecked every connection, checked the fuse, checked ground, and made sure ground came in contact with bear metal. Still nothing. I don't own a multi meter, looks as if I will be investing in one to find out were I went wrong.

Update: I find this rather odd. So today I run power straight from the battery to the switch. All works as it should. I wonder why the power window fuse tap does not provide enough power. Maybe the gauge wire is dropping power to rocker switch, I'm thinking of using some 12 gauge wire I have laying around. Beside this little quirk, can't say enough how awesome this mod is, thanks Ben.

SOO... BenWa, does this mean the Access Cab version is finally ready?! Dude, I have been waiting for this and checking this thread with patience for so long. Would you be able to ship me a kit when the components come back in stock?

The Crew Max is full size but not the DC. Nobody has tried this install on the Tundra?

Took apart the plastic panel behind the back seat on my DC and confirmed that there is no space to conceal the motor. The JBL sub woofer & amp takes up all the space under the storage cubby. Only thing I achieved was breaking a bunch of clips. :( It's much easier to take off those plastic panel if you first remove the seat backs. It only takes 2 bolts per seat.

Hey, sorry it didn't go as smoothly as planned. Sounds like it may be a faulty add-a-circuit...?

I can't imagine that there would be much voltage drop over the short distance from the fuse box to the switch. Don't know if bumping up to 12 gauge would make much difference. Let me know if you think the add-a-circuit is likely bad and I can send you a new one.

Well.... for now I can only sell the kits as they are (i.e., designed for the DC's), so if you want to try to make yours work with the AC like leggo has done, it's going to be up to you to get whatever extra parts/materials it would take to make it happen.

I have a more seamless design for the AC in my head that will require no cutting of anything and no visible parts, but it will be a few months probably before I have anything of that nature developed and ready to sell.

Check out CR Lawrence full window swaps (pricey) or Engineerlt's linear actuator mod. Those are the only other places to look as of now, as far as I know.
