    Update -- sorry I have not been posting in a while, and I still have a bunch of PMs to reply to. Apologize for the delay!

    I have been working hard to get the new hidden version released. They will be available very soon! Just working out a few last minute design bugs to make sure that you get the best quality product that is as easy to install as possible.

    I currently have a small prototype run of about 20 Access Cab kits ready to roll, but I will only sell this first run to Seattle area locals because I am treating them as prototype test samples which I want to install myself. If you live in the greater Seattle area, drop me a PM. I will install the units for this run for you.

    Hey benwa, lmk im down for a hidden access cab! I sent a pm but maybe someone else can chime in! So i was wondering how does this work when we have the black tab for sliding window? In the middle driver side to keep it closed and kinda acts like a lock for the outside

    The actuator doesn't close the window all the way. . . . leaves a small amount so that the lock doesn't engage. . . . perhaps an 1/8" or less. I believe it's still weather tight though so it shouldn't be a problem.

    +1 on both counts. When you install the track, you ensure that it's set back just a bit such that the latch does not slide all the way closed. I haven't had a weather seal problem since it's been installed, nor have I heard of anyone with one.

    You can have the window slide all the way closed then either attempt to remove the latch entirely or put something inside the latch such that it stays propped up.
