Thanks for the support guys. This kickstarter is going public tomorrow or Thursday at the LATEST. The kickstater campaign duration will be 30 days.

FYI, I mentioned previously that the pledge amount will be $165, not including shipping. Instead, I'm going to build shipping into the pledge amout -- so the pledge amount will be $180 which includes shipping, kickstarter fees, bank transactions fee, and everything else. The only exception will be for our Canadian friends -- you will have to add $20 to the pledge amount for shipping to Canada (total pledge of $200).

That's a good call is it going to be a post on this forum or s separate website?

When I launch, I'm going to post here first to make sure that you folks who have been following this thread get first dibbs, then a couple days later I am going to post a new thread in the main 2nd gen forum to drum up some additional interest. The kickstarter campaign will last for 30 days.

I will include a link to my kickstarter page, which is where you will be able to make a pledge.

That's a very good question. I'm really on the fence about this paticular version at the moment. The installation procedure is proving to be very finicky with a high risk of screwing things up badly, so I am far from comfortable to cut this version loose.

It's a bummer though, because when installed correctly it works great, and I REALLY want to make it available for AC owners who have been waiting forever for this mod.

The way I currently feel about it is this: I will entertain selling it right now to individual folks who can convince me that they have the mechanical aptitude to give it a shot.

For everyone else, I suggest waiting for my new full hidden version that I am campaigning on kickstarter -- the installation is MUCH more user-friendly, and it will work for both AC's and DC's.

It depends on the sub box, but it most likely won't be an issue, unless the box is so tall that it comes up to the window frame.

Count on my pledge for the hidden version. I am looking forward to not having to get out and open the window. As it gets warmer, it will be a very convenient.
