Maybe a stupid question that's already been asked but what sets the limits on this? Is it just the cable length?

The limit is set by the travel of the glass itself. The motor disables itself when it pulls against a certain amount of resistance. So just like opening it by hand, the glass has limits to how far it can open/close, and the motor will stall when the glass prevents it from pulling any further. There are no limit/proximity switches to adjust, and the length of cable can be anything as long as they form a complete loop with the sliding bracket.

Thank you. Your setup looks great. I ordered a linear actuator to try that method (already wishing I went this direction). May have to try this one later.

So when the glass reaches a physical stopping point the motor will shut itself off even if you continue to have the switch held down? I don't believe the ones with the kit did this (could be mistaken) but it is a nice feature if it does.

That is correct. Just like with the other windows.
If your driver's door window is already closed, and you pull the switch to try to close it further - there is no position indication back to the motor, the motor simply cannot close it any further. In a door window this physical limit is most likely in the metal track that the glass mount slides in, rather than the glass itself causing the bind - but it works just the same way.

In my setup, the window Open limit is caused by the bracket from BenWA reaching the end of the track on the passenger side of the truck, and the window Closed limit by the latch on the glass itself reaching the latch on the driver's side glass.

Hey Andy.. could you please tell me how those black plastic "tubs" come out??.. I've removed the 3 screws on each piece (L/R) and it seems there are some hidden pins or something holding them in there... I'm not sure if I should pull, and what DIRECTION TO PULL...

    Can U help...??

Just pull straight out. (thats what she said). There are a few plastic clips that will disconnect with the right amount of force. You won't hurt it. At worst, the clip itself may become disconnected from the tub, but you won't break anything. Those tubs are fairly worthless in my opinion and could've been designed a whole lot better.

I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I purchased a "NEW FRONT LEFT DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR W/MOTOR FOR A CHEVY IMPALA" from PrimeChoice for my 2014DC Tacoma. I've got it all hooked up using a Seinna switch. When I powered it up, it doesn't work at all. When I tested for power, I found that one side is 'hot' on both open and close, the other side is 'hot' only on one direction, but the motor doesn't work at all. Any suggestions? Bad motor? Wrong motor? I hooked up something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Just got mine working. Fully hidden on a double cab. Used a motor and regulator for a ram rear slider and made Benwa's window bracket.

Check that you have wired the Seinna switch correctly. I suspect you have the wrong pins wired at the switch. The voltage of the two wires to the motor should swap from hot-cold to cold-hot. If you have a wire that is staying hot something is wired incorrectly.

Did you happen to check how many amps the motor draws? I'm planning on using this switch in the smaller blank area below the climate controls. I've seen that some who used the Sienna vent switch wired up directly rather than through a relay.
