Lots of great info in this thread, some posted by BenWA, some by others. I've an idea or two of my own for securing the cable ends and tensioning the cables. It's important to know that cable housings are not all the same, compression less housings will stiffen the cable runs and reduce the overall tension required. Cable stops at each end of straight runs will dramatically reduce housing compression and provide locations for cable adjusters. Cable sleeves can run the full length protecting the cables from accumulated dust which leads to wear and friction. This idea has nowhere near reached its full potential. Look at each piece/part and there's still ways to improve or simplify fit or function.

Can you link me to where you got all the parts in your kit? Since you are no longer selling them

The OP has not been on TW for years??? The other member who was going to produce a "kit" has disappeared as well. There is enough information in this thread to get you on your way to making this work. As far as I know, no one has really given a step by step, buy these parts, do these mods and you will have a kit that works tutorial. If and when I ever get to the point where I tackle this mod I plan on making such a tutorial but then again, I will probably fall victim to the same curse others have and will never actually produce a parts list and write-up.

I have a sienna switch and two motors in my mod pile waiting on time and motivation. I think one of the road blocks is worrying over how much time the cabass and bed will be naked while I'm fiddling my way through it. That and getting the Bussman installed so it actually goes whrr, whrr, open, open(and just as importantly, close, close).
