Hey, weird random bump, but if anyone was wondering the window regulator part number for the entire assembly, its 73290-SJC-A01 i just was looking to do this mod on my 2015 and figured it was worth sharing.

 

is that through toyota? I would love to be able to roll it down with a simple solution

 

I saw that BenWA was making a kit at one point. Wonder why no one else has produced one since. I found other forums pointing to his thread. There seems to be a good amount of demand for a power rear window.

I'm still questioning how Toyota hasn't figured this one out. I asked a deal once about it and his response was... "Well the Tundra has one."

Maybe someday.

 

No its a Honda Ridgeline rear assembly. If you look at what BenWA did, thats what he junk picked from the local pull-a-part, so it will need some modifications. (like resizing the slider to fit a tacoma window 12") Im going to design a similar mount for the window, but make it easier to mount. I will post up some photos in the comming weeks.

 

Does anyone have that template that was used to cut the bins?

 

@Bluemarising, I was just wondering if you had figured out which mount would be better to use than the one BenWa used. I found a mount for Saturn that might work but figured I would see if you had any luck first.

 

Heads up I am taking a list or interest/ group buy for my kit. It will have a proper actuator design and come with brackets needed. It will be hidden behind seat, use a quieter motor and have the perfect strength so It doesn't slam the window or take to long to open/ close

 

You can sign me up for a kit, that is depending on the price. Trying to find the correct parts while doing a million other things seems very futile.

 

Probably looking $250 but hoping to sell them cheaper! Have two designs they are being tested.

Hello all . I will make an official thread once the forum allows it but currently I need a vote on if you would want to use a switch where the blanks are under the radio or to the left of the steering wheel left me know what you all perfer.

I think it has been done. You may have better luck in this thread as others have reported their progress in there.

 

It's for my toyota tacoma trd sprot extend cab 2018

 

Definitely can be done into 2nd generation.
