Now out of college and still living on a college student's budget, this is my very slow, budget-friendly build (more wishlist than anything) and list of places I’ve explored since moving to Oregon. At the end, I’m trying to keep a maintenance log as well since she didn’t come with any service records. So here we go!

2005 DCLB 4WD TRD Sport as she sits now:

    03713532-003E-42D0-A759-77A9D400C11B.jpg

    What’s been done so far:
    - OME 887 coils
    - Bilstein 5100s (fronts set to 0)
    - 3rd Gen leaf springs with Icon Progressive AALs.
    - 255/75/r17 Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires
    - Not much else yet

The day I brought her home
    20160706_073225.jpg
Parked next to my Ranger (now sold) :D
    20160706_065011.jpg

    History:
Made in California, but shipped and lived in Canada for all it's life. No maintenance records, and can only find 1 TSB done (steering column). No record of the CRC job on the frame, but the stuff is everywhere on the Frame, suspension, and bottom of the cab.
She came with a little fender-bender damage on the front passenger side.
PO was a smoker, so constant cleaning and vacuuming is keeping the smoke smell at bay.

Sh!t I need to worry about (because it's an 05 :frusty:):
-Engine mount failure, and here, and the fix here
-Head Gasket failure (here and here)
    -Cracked Spindles (more)
-Fuel pump/filter upgrade, or the VVT screen cleaning

    Stuff to fix:
    -Parking Brake
    -Tailgate
-Slip Yoke Spline greasing (found a Ford write-up here.)

    Future mods/wishlist
-Snorkels are a bit expensive, but this one's cheap
    -Foglights on Anytime mod
-Bed rail ammo can install using these
    -Grenade shift knob
-12V bed Outlet relocation (I have a pic, but haven't seen a write-up of this specific one yet)
    -Jumper cable outlet
    -Rear Diff Breather Relocation
    -Secondary Air Filter Removal
    -Engine Bay Lights
    -Brighter stock reverse lights
-Bed mat (either stock, or I'll cut one from Tractor Supply)
    -Storage Locks (or here)
    -48 LED Dome light
    -Hood Scoop Light Bar
-Tonneau Cover (roll-up, G4, Extang, not sure which one to go with yet)
-...after I replace my cracked tailgate....
    -Bed Bars/Bed Rack
    -Street Gardian dash cam
    -Android 7 head unit
    -Back-up camera
    -Rearview Mirror bracket
-I have an idea for a this.
    -Hitch winch mount/bracket
    -Blue SS break lines
    -TechDeck and mirror riser
-And of course, Recovery Gear (Snatch Strap and Dampener, Smittybilt Trail Jack, Hi-Lift kit)
    -Front Recovery Hitch
    -DIY RTT
    -Splash Guards
-DIY Water Tube (This one, actually)

I also thoroughly enjoy detailing. Plus, it keeps me busy after I'm done playing in the dirt:

First adventure was a simple camping trip to the Cinder Hill Campgrounds on the East Lake of the Newberry Volcano in the Deschutes National Forest

Nothing like lakeside camping! I love the week right as schools are starting because there are no kids, and really no other campers. Peace and quiet

Has the thread title always said Benzy? Is that where I got your nickname? Or did the thread title actually come from me?!
