Hello fellow forum frequenters, I am installing the besttop and am having a few issues.

Is there supposed to be a piece of fabric hanging down between the cab and the bed?

I can't get the tailgate to sit flush with the bottom of the back window, there is a small gap there.

    Any help is appreciated.

yes there is a piece of fabric that is supposed to hang between the cab and the bed. I had mine between the cab and bed for a few months and noticed that it was rubbing into the paint. Instead i tucked it back into the bed and used some small clamps inside to hold it down. Just a warning that it may rub away some of your paint inbetween your bed and cab.

Not sure about the gap between tailgate and back window, pics might help on that one.

    good luck

Figured out the rear, got it 95% installed just can't get 2 zippers all the way up. Does the fabric loosen up?

Got it all installed couple of thoughts.

Quality seems excellent, looks very good, my dogs don't hate it, cost effective r and versatile.

    A few complaints

I installed this last night, holy shit it was a pain in the ass even in a warm garage. My advice, get the side windows all the way in and THEN do the back, don't follow the instructions to do the back first.

I don't like how the windows touch the metal bars.
I don't like the there is a piece of fabric hanging between the cab and the bed.

Those are my only complaints thus far.
