So i want to install a 3 inch lift kit or a leveling kit to my base model taco but i would like to know what is the best and cheap kit to go with. This is only my daily driver, no off roading, just for looks.

I did a 3/2 ready lift with spacers and rear blocks essentially for looks as well...love it

Cool. Does it level it out or does it still have a rake?

Levels it out; I upgraded the rims to the 4runner 17" TRD matte black rims and BF Goodrich K02 285/70/17 tires...no rubbing at all and works with the factory mud flaps

Thats exactly what i want. Ive watched videos and seen posts with this setup and they keep saying that the 3/2 kit is basically the stock stance but taller. In other words, its gonna have a rake, is this true?

best and cheap, are not synonymous. The very best lifts can be thousands, if not tens of

Haha youre right but basically something that wont break the bank. So a spacer and a block would be fine just dont know what sizes to go with.

No rake; it levels the truck...they come with a rack from factory but the 3/2 lifts and levels it out; show pony not a work horse :)

    Puck level
Revtech 3" puck, diff drop, and aal. Install and wheel alignment was $900. I offroad pretty hard for work and it works. It's really rough off road. Be warned. On pavement it's normal.

Keep in mind if you want to keep the factory rake, you will want the same amount of lift front and rear such as 2/2 or 3/3. Where as 3/2 will give you 3 in front and 2 in rear that will level the stance.
