Best 3rd gen SHELL? Leaking?

so, I see that due to the third gen’s bed design toppers are prone to leaking. I don’t want to spend 2300 for a topper that leaks. Is there any particular make or model that doesn’t leak? If that’s the case, I may Just go the soft topper route.

 

It's generally not the topper that leaks. It's the gaps between the rails at the front of the bed, and the gaps between the tailgate and bedsides. All cap installs require those spots to be sealed up.
