I have a channel, I make 0$ because I still do not meet the requirements(1k subs / 4k hrs of valid watch time) the goal of my channel is to bring Tacoma/4runner info in Spanish. Anyway, the channels I follow for entertainment that are off roading Toyota related are:

Good advice too on whether to save an old vehicle or move on.

This guy does great work and narrates well.

 

A bit of a click bait title but the video was great.

One thing he said that I don’t agree with: He said this 4cyl is not powerful enough to use off-road. Throw it in 4low and there is plenty of torque to be had. Even my v6 struggles in 4hi off-road, I throw mine in 4low pretty much right away. Unless I’m bombing down an FSR.

I personally really like Toyota YouTube Maintenance Channel and the Tinkerers Channel. Admittedly, I do not spend alot time on youtube, if I do it's a random documentary about Egypt or bridge building in the 13th Century.

It took me along time to be comfortable filming content, I hate my voice on video. I was reluctant to film anything and for a large part of my life I stayed off the socials. I normally like to put the music on in the garage and get to work, so all this filming is a learning curve. Some of the other 3rd gen specific channels just seem a bit too fake for me, but they get the subs.

I can tell you from my analytics that almost 90% of the people that watch my vides are not subs. That tells me I need to get better or people like watching the other 3rd gen specific stuff more.

Don't mind sharing I make about $140 - $160 a month if I post once a week, it drops a bit if I miss a week. I do have a full time career, I own a small business. For me, it's not about the money now. I'm thinking more into retirement. I tend to think more long term so 15 to 20 years from now I'll have something to do that I enjoy and have enjoyed for most of my life that will generate some spending cash. I tell anyone who asks, start a channel and have fun. It does not matter if the same thing as been done 10 times already. Some people will like your personality over others. The audience is extremely diverse.

Also don't mind sharing I turn down a bunch of free shit and offers from companies I feel don't fit the channel or that I don't use.
