Hey guys I've looked for another thread like this but I can't seem to find any, so forgive me if there already is one. But I have dayton timberline a/t tires on my taco right now and they're not getting great mpg. Does anybody have any recommendations on all terrain tires that still get good mpg without any substanstial loss in traction in mud?? I've heard good things about the michelin xps traction tires, so have any of yall had any experience with these? any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks for your time.

I'm running Yokohama Geolander ATS. They were the lightest tire in the size (265 70 16) I could find and with aftermarket wheels my mileage only dropped a couple of points per gallon.

Oh, but I have heard they weren't very good in snow though. Luckily for me I don't have to worry too much about that.

I have the Dynapro ATMs and barely noticed any drop in mileage maybe .2 mpg when going from 265/65R17 to 265/70R17

I'm happy with my Bridgestone Revo 2's. Barely any MPG loss compared to the stock HT's I was running.

What is the tread life on these kind of tires? What about in sizes of 235 85 r16?
