Don't worry about the rating I was worrying that the st maxx was E rated but they ride better than the AT3s.
E rated tires will usually be heavier and tougher but may drive worse or better.
C rated tires will be lighter and not as tough depending on the tire.
An E rated AT3 is too stiff for our trucks but the st maxx is ok, so it all depends on tire design.

I would focus more on what you want the tire to do.
I wanted a tire to be great on the road and take me off road so I got the AT3s.
Now I want a better off road tire and got the st maxx.
A lot of people get the goodyears because they are still lighter, good off road and great in the snow.
But they aren't as tough and a lot of people get flats.
And you have the KO2 a good tire all around.

What don't you like on your tires? Find the tire that fixes that.

    This place has 315/70/17 KO2's for $199 a tire in C rating that's why I was wondering if I need E rating.

I like the general grabbers but seem like they are going to discontinued it. If I ever get a puncture I could still order a new stt pro
