Aw man. That sucks. Does it have the tread wear warranty so you can ask for some compensation?

That's my plan. If they honor the warranty, I'll get another set, if not, I'll try something different.

I’ve heard only great things about the ST MAXX.

They look interesting but I wonder how they ride, it looks like they only have E range. They are also quite expensive.

Yeah, availability seems to be slim as well. Maybe I’ll try them one day and report back!

This is a good friends JLUR and has gone all over North America with these tires. 30k on them in Alaska when these pics were taken.

    37” flavor.

Wow. That is a little different from my “casual overlanding.” Haha, I think those may be the STT Pros, though. Thanks for the pics! Killer Jeep!

I have only ever ran KO and KO2s on three of my rigs, so I can't honestly say they are better or worse than any other brand out there.

Never had issues with balancing, tread life, traction, flats, comfort, etc.

Ironically, when I did my lift and tires my '17 Tacoma, I couldn't get 255/85R16 in a KO2, so I opted for the KM3.

To date (2.5 years post install) I do not have a single complaint about these KM3s. Great tire in all respects and actually smoother and quieter on the road than my KO2s. Great traction, tire wear, and tough as hell!

I just noticed the option was MAXX, not Pro. :anonymous:

It’s a pretty sweet JL. Rides like on the clouds. Fox shocks tuned by @AccuTune Offroad made all the difference.

Haha, no worries man! That’s awesome. I just use my taco for casual off roading do they may be a little aggressive for my use case. However, if they’re well mannered on road I would be willing to give them some consideration!

I have driven that Jeep and it drives very nice. Not sure what he is going with next to be honest. It came with BFG KO2s and he liked those tires.

Most surprising thing about that Jeep is the power from that 4 cylinder Turbo.

Glad I'm not the only one. Have been amazing in the dirt, mud and exceptional in the snow. BUT I have almost exactly 20,000 miles on them and they seem to be just over half tread. Gonna check with the tread gauge later.

Something to note on the Wildpeaks thread depth. They are all over the place, but generally the SL are 13/32 and the E are 17/32. Some size are as deep at 19/32 and as little as 12/32.

Do you have E Rated or SL? I had E rated on my old F150 and thos tires looked brand new after 40k miles. I put SL on my tacoma and I also feel like they are wearing too quickly.
