    I recently got a part time job working the gun counter/hunting at the local Bass Pro and being the fact that I'll probably never contact every single company we carry, and I thought it be a decent topic/post, and now with most of the more prevalent firearms are built well so customer service really matters, like it should when your paying several hundred/thousand for a product. So who has the best (and the worst) customer service among the gun manufacturers that you have dealt with ?

    Criteria:

    1. Were they courteous and professional ?
    2. Did they solve the problem ?
    3. Did they charge reasonable fees ?
    4. Were they prompt in returning the firearm ?

    Rate on a scale of 1-10 (Where 10 = best)

    Customer service is obviously not the most important criterion to consider when purchasing a handgun, but it can be important enough to serve as a "tie breaker".

    I personally never had to send a firearm in for service, but from what I have read on multiple gun forums and heard through scuttlebutt...

    Ruger=10 Fast, gives free mags

    Sig=8 (Takes a while for service, but that's the only reason why I give a 8) gives free mags

    S&W=9

    Springfield =9

    Glock=8 A bit slow..

    PSA=9 Quality isn't the best, but great CS

    Noveske=2 Rude, unprofessional. Guy on the forums asked if they could make him a 300 blackout barrel. They just said NO and told him to F*** off.

    Robinson Armament=0 Guy on the forums had to go through small claims court to get his rifle back. Uncommunicative, rude, unprofessional. Hope they go out of business.

    damn, thats pretty rough, im always pretty strict on 1-10 scales and dont give to many 10's but really the only reason im giving Caracal a 5 right now is not answering a question that ive brought up in two emails to them, the only reply ive gotten had nothing to do with my question but of a recall on the handgun ive got. But their deal with the recall is either theyll refund my money, or wait 12 weeks due to parts inavailability, and then get a free mag, hat, shirt, and 15% of w/e the next caracal product i may buy is. Which is a long time yes but the companies is newer in the US and i can understand it being rough to get new parts in the country.

    And I forgot but can add
    stoeger as well - 9 (no freebies but fixed the issue fast, the time from sending to receiving was 6 days)

    CZUSA for CZ -85b (10)

    1. Were they courteous and professional ? Yes, I bought the CZ85b second hand and they fixed my problem for free
    2. Did they solve the problem ? Yes even did some polishing and improved the trigger pull
    3. Did they charge reasonable fees ? Only charge was to send it to them, they took care of the return fee.
    4. Were they prompt in returning the firearm ? Got it back in 2 weeks, when told it would be 6 weeks.
