I am looking at up grading my tires and wanted to get some input on what everyone else out there thinks. Ive read a lot of forums about the BF KO2 and the cooper Discoverer A/T3, and those seem to be everyone's favorites. What I am looking for is a something thats not going to completely kill my gas mileage, but is going to preform. I live in SoCal and do a lot of driving up to the mountains in the snow, and also a lot of desert driving and Baja trips so I am not just looking for a road tire. I also have been eye balling the Mickey Thompsons Baja Claw TTC Radial or Baja ATZ P3, but havent been able to find any info on those. What are your thoughts?

I'd go with the AT3 or the KO2s. Those Mickey Thompsons are heavy and really meant for the serious offroader. I've been told the're softer too, so you won't be getting that great of a lifetime out of them.

toyo at2 extreme & cooper st maxx, stt pro & dick cepek extreme country or fun country are also tires. as for the weight comment about the mickey t's above have a look for yourself and don't believe the details you see here without checking your own facts. if you want a tire that is not prone to weak sidewall issues a lightweight tire that doesn't affect gas mileage is not exactly ideal.
