What kind of backspacing do I need to run 33x11.5ish on 16/15?

I cant decide if I want to just get some black steel 15in rims or do a good job painting my stock rims.

A guy on here did an amazing job on his.\/

4.5 bs, but I've seen people run that size tire on stock wheels. you could go that route with new wheels too, 4.5 bs or 3.5 bs will do. your wheels will just be push out more which would give it a nice stance.

^^^^ what he said. You could run almost any tire with 4.5BS. 16's always look good on 1st gens.

What about sticking with stock rims and adding wheel spacers?

I run 33x10.5x15 on factory wheels. With the 2.25" ish lift, they operate like OEM 265/70(75)/16 tires. The 33x10.5 should have been factory in my opinion.
