Best bang for the buck lift kit ?

This is a solid setup for us daily driver with light to moderate off-roading guys

 

I went for looks and so do a lot of folks. Pro Comp 3/1 Nitro kit for 279.00. I am running 285/70/17's with no issues. If the day comes and I do want to get into some off road stuff, I will upgrade.

I wanna just go for looks as well. 3/1 sounds right. The wheel tire set up gave you NO issues ? Any spacers? Remove the mud flaps? No rubbing at all???

 

No spacers and no rubbing at all. I did have to remove the mud flaps but I actually like that look anyway. It rides great.

 

Mind you I have a 2016. Do you have a 2013?

Spacer kits are easily the best bang for the buck, it's why I did it to my lease. I'd do it again. F- the haters!

 

Just got my 5100 kit with 887, deaver AAL and LR UCA. I would highly recommend. Truck sits perfect and I didn't have to do the CMC with 285's

long beds and lifts really makes the looks much better on them. truck looks great

 

My lift kit was $415 5100’s with a 1” block in the rear..to be replaced soon by a AAL because it’s too bouncy and droops heavily with 600+ lbs

 

Buy once, cry once. That’s what I have heard pulling the trigger on a stage 4 icon set up soon.

 

If you’re planning on doing some good off-roading definitely the case. If not there’s literally no point to investing thousands of dollars on something you’ll never use what it was made for.

 

That's the exact setup I have right now, but I definitely wouldn't consider mine to be a "lift kit." Preloading stock springs with 5100s is on par with putting spacers. I just have a drink every time I start comparing myself to spacer lifts. Lol

My question is now, what size tire to go with if I’m keeping stock wheels?

Definitely a sharp looking truck. The fact that he didn't have to do a CMC to get 285's to not rub sounds appealing...
