I must be the last person on earth pleased with AllPro. Quick shipping when I got 'em. I've slid 'em on the rocks a few times, no damage. Nice clean lines.

I love all pro but sometimes they don’t double check. The hoops on my bumper aren’t in line. All 3. If you look from the cab it’s annoying as hell. But from 20 feet no big deal. But at least the center one should be straight.

Funny you mention this post, I’m no longer an AllPro fan after watching their production issues and poor customer service for the past year. No longer AllPro anyway. It’s Trail Gear or some shit now.

Well now I’m depressed. I was such a huge fan and posting my last comment reminded me of how annoying it is. Wonder if I can fix them somehow. Would have to ruin the powder coat. But at that cost just by new ones from someone who puts the time in.

Pretty work, but my gut tells me there are much more robust designs out there. Disclaimer.... I’m a physicist not an engineer.

Mobtown has that cantilever gusset on the aft of their sliders. That coupled with the C-frame clamp and rear beam clamps make for a really solid slider.

MT is in my ‘short list’. I just wish they had an option for a continuous top plate and/or diamond plate

I've had great experiences with my Metal Tech sliders. They've saved my rockers a few times, and they're strong enough to serve as a jack point. Here, you can see the skaters tape I have on the rear hoop to give my kids some traction when they're getting in or out of the truck.

    Rock sliders

I’m sure you e probably made your purchase but to anyone else looking at this thread for answers, I have C4 Fab sliders and I like them. However, if you are planning on using a hi lift, look for sliders that use factory holes on the underside of the frame (not just the factory holes on the sides of the frame. That way you dont have to drill them positioned from below our truck with very little room to gain any sort of leaverahe during the drill. I drilled mine and it was a rough time.

Mobtown and budbuilt... I think both are no drill solutions.

SDHQ has bolt ons made from chrome moly and they're the lightest real sliders I've seen in the marketplace, 50lbs per side. but that chrome moly is pretty expensive so these aren't cheap. i have them on my truck.
I'm not sure he making stuff still, is he? last i checked he's been ill and not working. but that was several months ago last i checked.

Yea I messaged them and they're up and running. Right now lead time is 3 months. Rob is going to retire at the end of the year to work full time in the shop, so lead times should be reduced.
