    I have an ARE camper top, and it works well with the Dogs. I have two Boxers and they are pretty big (not huge) The only thing is you will have to clean slobber off the windows every weekend :D I have the top that has the SUV looking windows (ie no big seal around the windows on the exterior) the side windows vent out as well, which is good to get them fresh air. Another thing is I leave the back windows open (providing it is not raining) so they can hear us in the cab and see if they want to. All in all it has been a great addition, and I will not take it off.

    have you looked into installing a rubber boot from the top's front window into the cab's rear window?

    I love the sliding windows on the side to give the pup some cross breeze when on the road... I really don't think the screens slide too, but I'll check later. Windoors and slidding screens are A MUST

    My GSP is a freaking nut so yeah he's in the back! Plus if your dog rides with you 3-4 times a week sometimes the amount of hair in the carpet it will drive you nuts. They're dogs and they're very tough animals. Mines like a bull in a china shop. A lot of air during the summer and heat only when on long drives during the winter.

    THIS!

    I got tired of vacuuming my Wet Okoles on the daily.... the pooch rides in the truck bed now and he's well trained to "load up"

    Oh yeah, I only slide the windows open and don't drive with the windoors open... I did around the neighborhood to the dog park and (I was going 5-10mph) and he saw a dog that I guess was worth jumping out over

    It was all fine but I guess the other dog owner said he jumped out, his head/upper body hit the side of the bed, he hit the floor and then got up and ran over to the other dog

    :rolleyes::rofl:
