So it sounds like the URD stage 3+ clutch , heavyweight flywheel and hydroTOB seems to be satisfying the needs of those who are running that set up. I am currently replacing my TOB in my 06 sport and the clutch is getting strung along to get a replacement since I’m in there. I had the chirp real bad but then I’m also at 296,000 miles or some such number on the original which was LUK clutch. Had the chirp probably since about 175k-200k and the thing just kept going. Must have been an Energizer TOB. I never had much problem with the OEM clutch in any terrain or driving condition but things can always be improved upon yes? Unless anyone is running the URD set up and has any qualm? That seems to be the ticket………

I love reviving old threads, this information is so important. I think the factory clutches are the worst from any clutch in any vehicle I have ever driven but I still love them.

What is TOB and what is hydro TOB that is being referenced in this thread?

happy with the parts so far.
Went URD stage 2, flywheel, CM HydroTOB. Didn’t know much about tilton one at the time. Got the fitment kit just in case I ever have to make the switch.

knock on wood it’s doing fine. Stopped squeaking. The minimal DOT4 drip it had from the bleeder stopped.

Correct me if I’m wrong but stage 3 has pucks and stage 2 is a full face material disc.
Full material is for a vehicle driven every day.
Pucks are for a 700hp B5 S4 with poor driveability.

stage 2 rating can probably handle a supercharger.

Thoughts on Uni Clutch? Available in US through NAPA. Seriously considering being a guinea pig.

Edit: bought the clutch. Dropping the truck off for installation on 2/10.
