Sharing this as I have been using it for decades on old BMWs and it is the only product I have found that treats and cleans while not making everything reflect the sun. They recently changed the brand name on this (for America?) it used to be to be "1Z". It is just perfect for our old trucks. Highly recommended!

Oh, dust and dirt won't stick to it so it's perfect for my 'windows always down' driving style.

Simple green is one of the best and cheapest cleaners. I use it at work all the time because it doesn’t damage soft touch or hard plastic. Other oily things can make things swell and squeak.

Wurth cockpit care is a very good second but can only buy through a wurth dealer or someone selling online. This is a better for headliner/fabric cleaner but is worth it. Also remember on headliners and fabric blot don’t rub hard till the stain starts to release. Micro fibers are your friend and help pull stains away rather push them in.

I just wipe my dash with foamy glass cleaner, Sprayway to be exact. Or some other mild cleaner. The whole interior actually, even the cloth. Probably just me but I'm afraid to use any "protectant" treatment sprays on my dash, especially anything oily. May look nice but I've seen bad things happen like fading, staining, etc over time. My dash still looks great, no cracks, and I live in hot sunny SoCal.

Agreed the oily ones will swell soft touch and make thing squeak. Plus it’s just not a nice thing to touch on your dash.

I've used this stuff forever on glass, polycarbonate, plastic, dashboard and interior trim, paint, well everything. Works great as long as you have a clean microfiber cloth.

My buddy details cars and swears by that stuff with a clean micro fiber. Never used it on paint but will give that stuff a try. Good glass cleaner is hard to find. Household stuff never seems to work on windshields and that haze from ac.

I have owned quite a few generations of BMW M3s with some of them being extremely collectable. This is what they get. It isn't oily and won't make your windshield hazy after sitting in the sun. It also has a UV blocker. It is perfect for its intended use. Save the glass cleaner for glass. Your dash hates it.

    Not oily. That's the point.

I've used "Invisible Glass" on my windshield and it ain't worth a $hit. :annoyed:

After using it along with a couple fresh-washed towels I can see a film that just won't wipe away. Paper towels, newspaper, I've tried them all. I see a haze when the sun is 10-20 degrees above the horizon and in front of the windshield. Drives me crazy.

Over the years 40 years I've tried a lot of so-called "cleaners". I've found that the best thing is plain soapy water and a squee-gee.

303 is a good UV protectant. I use it on my kayaks and dash and it seems to have done a good job to me. Obviously everything plastic is susceptible to UV damage and the dashboard is constantly in the sun so although it’s more expensive than armor all, I think it’s worth it.
