Since it's Black Friday, I am looking for the best dashcam to utilize the mount in my Tacoma. Any recommendations?
    TIA

Sorry late, but FitCamX was so easy, and only about $180. Take the cover off the rear view, plug in new, DONE!

There is a bracket on windshield for a camera to be mounted. Will this camera mount there?

FitCamX for me, Several years old now. The camera has its own cover. It replaces the the one beside the mirror for a factory look.IMG_1144.jpg

Do you have a better picture facing the mirror?

I run dual garmin dash cams and I find they work great. I have the front attached to a go pro mount so it hooks onto the windshield bracket.

Wolf box is having a decent Black Friday sale, you get a digital rear view mirror plus front and rear dash cams so for the price and what you get it’s a pretty good deal

I have a 2017 TRD Sport and want to mount my dash cam using the factory mount. Can someone show me how to adapt the dash cam to a Go Pro mount?

It"s a cheaper Amazon dash cam that has the suction cup mount system. after much research on my end I can't find an adapter to work. My only alternative it possibly a glue on mount attached to the factory bracket. I bought this camera a few years ago to see how I would like it and it works fine, so I really don't want to change to a different (ie more expensive one) just to mount it in the Go Pro mount. Sucks
