looking at picking up a set of dakars for my 05 and looking to see who has the best deal on them. right now it looks like trdparts4u.com at 335 plus 75 shipping is the best bet.

anyone know of any place cheaper, or anyone have a used set for sale? does wheelers or trdparts4u.com have a TN discount?

also, anyone w/ the dakars, exactly how much lift did you get? im hoping to get at least an extra 2" over my TSB leafs.

    thanks guys.

If you call wheelers and talk to them you might be able to work something out. They also tend to charge you just the cost for shipping vice a flat charge.

I called several places for prices plus shipping. In my case, trdparts4U.com were the cheapest shipped to my doorstep.

This was a couple of months ago... so things may have changed.

Soundproofed cab, beeps purged, bed lights, extra bed tie-downs and TSB springs.
If you live in the Northwest, it may be worthwhile to go to their warehouse in Renton, WA for a pick-up.

My rear was originally sitting ~36" before my lift. With the Dakar springs and new wheels (285/70/17) I'm sitting at ~40.75". I didn't measure the lift height from the wheel center (like I should have) to get the true lift height from the springs. The literature says the springs give ~2.75" of lift.

One thing to keep in mind with the Dakar's, is that you can remove the 3rd spring (from the top), to reduce the lift height if the standard setup is too tall for your taste/needs.
