They are all good to great quality . For recreational the rigid is probably overkill. The kc is a solid light, as well as the vision x

The KC Floods were what I was actually looking at, every review of them from what I've seen looks good.

What is a "ditch light" pray tell?

BTW, at Walmart there is a brand called Auto Drive and they have integrated multi LED reflectors, nice white light and several models from the cubes to the bars. They also have the wire harnesses (1 to 1 and 1 to 2) for them with the gasketed snap lock type connectors. And they are cheap and all metal and very similar to several name brands so much so I think they may be the same units.

It is a light that you hate so much you end up throw it in the ditch.

I’ve never understood the term “keeping honest people honest “ ????
An honest person does not need help staying honest !!!
Maybe your just making yourself feel better by locking them up.

Accurate . Just a saying lol. There is no bolt or security ring in the world that will stop a their. If they want something bad enough they will get it. She the next cliche saying, "if there is a will, there is a way". Anything to slow em down or hinder accessibility I guess

Honestly now it's a light that mounts above your hood on mounts, on your a Pilar. There called ditch lights because when you offroad in the dark you can see the Ditch with them.

AND contrary to what you see usually, they are supposed to be mounted down at an angle, as stated above, to see into ditches. But they also make great f-you lights

I ended up getting the KC Flood's from CBI, not a bad price and the reviews are great, once they and my bed rack bars come in I'll post pix.

I have some gg lighting pods that came as a pair with brackets and a wiring harness for $79 plus tax I believe. I have them mounted as rear facing dust lights but still need the cover to make them Amber. Pics are in my build thread below. They do offer a tacomaworld discount you just need to email them prior to purchase

I had a set of these and some turd decided to pull them off my truck one night. If I got another set I would need "security bolts" or something.
